Wai Khuan Ng PhD, RN, CIC, CPHQ, FAPIC

Dr. Wai Khuan Ng is an expert in infection prevention and control. In this role, she provides consulting services for infection prevention and control in international settings, across the continuum, including program assessment, professional development, and mentoring, education and training, and product development for the field. Dr. Ng has broad experience practicing and teaching about infection prevention and control and she has published and presented extensively in this area.

Dr. Ng is a Certified Yellow Belt. With this designation, she supports The Joint Commission’s activities associated with establishing and sustaining a Robust Process Improvement (RPI) culture. As a Certified Yellow Belt, she is trained in the foundational concepts and tools of problem-solving and makes improvements to better meet customer expectations and organization objectives.
