Wael Saleem MD, PhD

Dr. Wael Saleem is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Anesthesiology at the University of Weill Cornell, Qatar and is working as a Consultant of Anesthesiologyand Pain Management at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC). He received His MD, PhD and eventually earned his Pain Management fellowship from Gunma University, Japan.

Dr. Wael is considered to be a key member in the establishment of the pain management service at HMC. He has been appointed the Corporate Director of the Chronic Pain Services and acts as the Program Director for the Pain Medicine fellowship at HMC and the ultrasound guided intervention pain procedure course as well.
