Mr Niall Kirkpatrick is a Consultant Craniofacial Plastic surgeon. He qualified in both Dentistry (BDS) in 1984 and Medicine (MBBS) in 1990 from Guys Hospital, University of London. After completing training in General surgery and becoming a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in 1996, he trained in Plastic surgery and was accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS Plast) in 2001 and is included in the General Medical Council (GMC) specialist register for Plastic surgery. He has also completed a postgraduate doctoral thesis and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) in 1996 from the University of London.
Mr Kirkpatrick is head of the Craniofacial Unit at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London, and a member of the Multidisciplinary Head and Neck Cancer Unit at The Royal Marsden Hospital and previously at Charing Cross Hospital, London. He is also a member of the West London Cancer Network Specialist Skin MDT based at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. He is a trustee, and the medical director, of the international charity "Facing the World" which works to reconstruct children with major facial deformity around the world. He is a past President of the Royal Society of Medicine Plastic Surgery section.
