Dr. Vwaire Orhurhu is a nationally recognized interventional pain physician and outcomes researcher. He currently practices at MVM Health and is a former Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Dr. Orhurhu received his medical degree from Mayo Medical School and completed postgraduate training at Harvard-affiliated hospitals, including a General Surgery internship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, an Anesthesiology residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and a Chronic Pain Medicine fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital.
He holds a Master of Public Health from Harvard University, with advanced training in quantitative research methods and statistical analysis. Dr. Orhurhu has authored over 180 peer-reviewed publications and multiple book chapters in anesthesiology and interventional pain medicine. His work has appeared in leading journals such as JAMA Surgery, Anesthesia & Analgesia, Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, and Pain Medicine.

He is a frequent national and international speaker, award-winning researcher, and peer reviewer for multiple pain medicine journals.
