Dr. Vladimir Lomivorotov is originally from Novosibirsk, Russia. He earned his degree at Novosibirsk State Medical University in 2000 and he is a specialist in Anesthesia and Intensive Care since 2002. He is currently an Associate Professor at E. Meshalkin National Medical Research Center (Novosibirsk), where he is Head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care. Dr. Lomivorotov is a member of the Editorial Board of the «Journal of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Anesthesia» and served as a reviewer for other journals (British Journal of Anaesthesia, BMC Anesthesiology, European Journal of Clinical Nutrition, Perfusion). Along with his colleagues, over the five-year period, he published more than 50 articles in international peer-reviewed journals (total impact factor > 200). He ideated and organized five national meetings for cardiac anesthesiologists in Russia (2011, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019). Dr. Lomivorotov has a strong scientific interest in myocardial protection and treatment of low cardiac output syndrome in patients after cardiac surgery.
