Vladimír Krystof PhD

Vladimir Krystof is a researcher at the Laboratory of Growth Regulators a joint facility of the Faculty of Science, Palacky University in Olomouc and the Institute of Experimental Botany, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. He graduated in analytical chemistry (1996), then earned his PhD in medical biology (2002), followed by habilitation in biochemistry (2010). Part of his results was obtained during several short-term stays in Vienna (Austria), Dundee (UK), Marseille (France). His research expertise includes rational design, development and characterization of small molecule inhibitors of oncogenic protein kinases, drug discovery from plants and target identification of compounds with antiproliferative activity. He has authored over 100 publications and 20 international patents on these topics.
