Vladimir Bantseev PhD

Vladimir Bantseev is a senior scientist in the Department of Safety Assessment – Toxicology at Genentech, Inc. As an ocular toxicology subject matter expert, his main focus is on assessing the safety of novel treatments for retinal diseases and he contributes to the development of these molecules from target identification through post-marketing. Dr. Bantseev is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, a SOT member, and an elected board member of the Ocular Toxicology Sub Specialty. He is also an active member of ARVO. He has presented and published extensively in the area of ocular anatomy, physiology, toxicology, and ophthalmic drug development.
