Viviane Tabar MD

Viviane S. Tabar, MD, is a neurosurgeon-scientist and Chair of the Department of Neurosurgery. She has clinical expertise in the surgical management of brain tumors such as complex gliomas, meningiomas, and skull base tumors. Her laboratory is focused on two major themes: harnessing the potential of human pluripotent stem cells for brain repair and tumor modeling, and studying glioma biology with a focus on tumor cell heterogeneity and the microenvironment.
