Dr. Vivekanandan Kalaiselvan Received an undergraduate and postgraduate degree in Pharmacy from the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University Chennai and Ph. D from the University of Delhi. Having Twenty years of a multitude of experience in the pharmaceutical sector such as academic, pre-clinical and clinical research, Pharmacovigilance and drug standards-setting.

Currently, as Principal Scientific officer at IPC is responsible to protect and promote quality standards, safety and rational use of drugs. Also working towards establishing the Materiovigilance Programme of India to monitor the safety of medical devices. My responsibilities also include to work with WHO – country office (India), HQ Geneva and South East Asia Regional Office to strengthen the medical products quality and safety monitoring system in India and other WHO member countries.
