Vivek V. Sailam MD

Dr. Vivek Sailam is a practicing cardiologist with Associated Cardiovascular Consultants, a part of Lourdes Cardiology. Dr. Sailam is a graduate of Boston College and earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in New York, New York and Dominica, West Indies. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Drexel University, College of Medicine, where he was also named Resident of the Year. A cardiology fellowship at Drexel completed his postgraduate training.

He is affiliated with Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center, Virtua and Inspira Medical Center Woodbury (formerly Underwood Memorial Hospital). Dr. Sailam is also board certified in internal medicine, nuclear cardiology, and echocardiography.

He has participated in research projects and has co-authored several articles for medical journals. In addition, Dr. Sailam has a passion for prevention medicine and has been a leading advocate and participant in the Lourdes “Walk, Shop and Dine with the Doc” program and lead a program in “Exercise with the Doc.”
