Dr. Vivek T. Kulkarni, M.D., MHS, EdM, is a clinical cardiologist and Director of Nuclear Cardiology at Cooper University Health Care. He also serves as an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Co-Director of the MS2 Cardiovascular Course at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, where he is actively involved in medical education and physician training.

Dr. Kulkarni specializes in cardiovascular disease, cardiac imaging, and nuclear cardiology, with a focus on diagnosing and managing complex heart conditions and improving patient outcomes through advanced imaging techniques and evidence-based care. He treats adult and older adult patients and is affiliated with Cooper University Hospital.

He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Yale School of Medicine, followed by internship and residency training in internal medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital. He then completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. In addition to his medical training, he obtained a Master of Education (EdM) from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, reflecting his commitment to advancing medical education.

Dr. Kulkarni is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine and holds advanced certifications in adult echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. His academic interests include cardiovascular outcomes research, clinical cardiology, and innovative teaching methods in graduate medical education.

He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association, and has received multiple awards for excellence in teaching and mentorship during his training and academic career.
