Dr, Vishal Bansal is a general surgeon proudly serving the San Diego area, specializing in Surgical Critical and Trauma Surgery. Dr. Bansal received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 1999 and became certified by the American Board of Surgery for Surgery and Surgical Critical Care in 2006 and 2007. At the University of Pittsburgh Dr. Bansal completed a research fellowship in 2004 and a residency for General Surgery in 2006. In 2007, Dr. Bansal completed a fellowship at the University of California, San Diego for Surgical Critical Care.
