Dr. Virginie-Eve Lvovschi has been an emergency physician since 2006, holder of a doctorate in “Clinical Research, Technological Innovation, and Public Health” and an authorization to direct research in health sciences.

For 20 years, she has made opiate analgesia the central axis of her clinical research work, developing research at the patient's bedside, but also experimental in healthy volunteers. It conducts both: Phase I/II and III drug studies; studies of professional practices in situ; studies concerning the springs of medical decision-making. Her research has led her to test new methods of prospective epidemiology, and new multiparametric biostatistical tools and to lead pharmacometric modeling studies. Today, she is particularly committed to the development of neurophysiological and neurovegetative pain models.

At the same time, she acquired basic science expertise in the field of serum biomarkers, with research focused on immunological and endocrine prognostic factors of sepsis and stress. Finally, over the past 4 years, its work has been enriched by an additional line of research concerning the rational use of technological innovations in emergency medicine, and the consistency of the patient care pathway with their stay in the emergency room. The relevance of blood transfusions in emergencies and the targeting of populations at risk of malnutrition are at the heart of his latest epidemiological and medico-economic work.
