Vinod K. Rustgi MD, MBA

Vinod K. Rustgi, MD, MBA, is a Distinguished Professor of Medicine and Director of Hepatology at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine. He is a board-certified physician with a specialty in Transplant Hepatology, Internal Medicine, and Gastroenterology.

Dr. Rustgi received his undergraduate degree from Yale University in 1975 and obtained his Medical Degree from Johns Hopkins University in 1979. After completing Medical School, Dr. Rustgi got an Internship with Baylor College of Medicine in 1979. In 1982, he completed his Residency with Georgetown and went on to a Fellowship in 1984 with Stanford University, followed by a second Fellowship in 1985 at the National Institute of Health. In 2009, Dr. Rustgi received his MBA from Johns Hopkins University.
