Vinicius De Rezende Rodovalho obtained his Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology and Master's degree in Genetics and Biochemistry, both from the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU, Brazil). PhD in Bioinformatics from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG, Brazil) and PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular and Cellular Biology from Agrocampus Ouest and Institut national de la recherche agronomique et l'environnement (INRAE, France). During his undergraduate and master's degrees, he developed research related to the development of electrochemical biosensors, and devices for the diagnosis of diseases such as juvenile idiopathic arthritis. During his doctorate, he developed research related to the proteomic and functional characterization of extracellular vesicles produced by probiotic bacteria, contributing to understanding how these nanoparticles of bacterial origin perform beneficial functions for human health, mainly immunomodulation. Interdisciplinary training, with experience in Bioelectrochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Proteomics, and Bioinformatics.
