Vijaya Raman PhD

Vijaya Raman is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at St. John’s Medical College, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. She completed her Ph.D. at the Shaney Institute of Health Sciences. She is specialized in Clinical Psychology. Her current areas of interest are Psychological aspects of chronic medical illness in children and adolescents, Children and adolescents at high risk, Shyness in children and its ramifications, implications of child abuse, and child and adolescent outcomes of children with parents who have a psychiatric illness.
