Vijay has 35 years experience in Anesthesiology after qualification. He Headed the team that established Liver Transplant Anaesthesia and Critical Care at two major centres in India (Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and Medanta- The Medicity). He has 5 years experience as Vice-Chairperson in policy making and running a large department of 40 anaesthetists at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital Imparted training in Transplant Anaesthesia to visiting / fellow anaesthetists and intensivists from 26 centers within India and abroad in the last 10 years. He has Experience of over 1500 liver transplants – among the highest anywhere First in India to develop and introduce hemodynamic and coagulation monitoring protocol for bloodless liver transplant.
