Vijay Ram Kumar Papineni MBBS, MRCS, FRCR

Dr. Vijay Papineni is a Consultant Radiologist with a special interest in Musculoskeletal Radiology & Sports imaging. After finishing his MRCS, he received Radiology specialist training from Sheffield, UK and obtained FRCR from Royal College of Radiologist, the UK in 2006. Following this, he was awarded a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Clinical Radiology. He was also awarded a Diploma in MSK Radiology by the European Society of Skeletal Radiology (ESSR) and Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Education by Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2013.

He worked as a full-time Consultant Radiologist for the more than 6 yrs at Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. He was awarded the title of Honorary Senior Lecturer by the University of Sheffield. Currently a full-time Consultant Radiologist at Mafraq Hospital in Abu Dhabi, UAE. He has several publications including a book chapter: Co-author of the Musculoskeletal chapter “MRI of the Whole Body: An Illustrated Guide to Common Pathologies” Publisher: Royal Society of Medicine; (ISBN-10: 1853157767; published in 2011).
