Vidya Gopinath MD, FACP

Vidya Gopinath, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine and a primary care physician at the Madsen Health Center. Dr. Gopinath’s primary clinical focus is on women’s health and she sees primarily female patients. Her clinical interests include contraception, osteoporosis, and preventive medicine. As a medical educator, she works with medical students and residents and hopes to foster an interest in primary care for the next generation of doctors.

Dr. Gopinath received her undergraduate degree from Haverford College and her MD from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. She received her training at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, and remained on their faculty as a primary care provider where she was also the Director of the Women’s Health Track.
