Victor Moreno Garcia MD, PhD

Victor Moreno Garcia was Born in Madrid in 1980, he obtained a Medical Degree from the Univerisity Complutense of Madrid in 2004 and completed his specialized formation in Medical Oncology at Hospital Universitario La Paz in 2005 2009. From 2008-to 2010 he obtained a Master's Degree in Molecular Oncology from the CNIO (Spanish National Cancer Research Centre, Madrid).

He also obtained his Ph.D. Doctorate, with European Mention in 2013 for his research in rectal cancer After finishing the residency period he obtained the Excellent Resident Grant, awarded to complete his training in Phase 1 oncology clinical trials in the Drug Development Unit of the Royal Marsden Hospital (Sutton, UK) during 2010-2011. After the completion of the Fellowship, he returned to a Consultant position in Medical Oncology at the Hospital Universitario La Paz where he was in the Neuro-Oncology, Gastrointestinal Tumors section and was responsible for the coordination of the Oncology Phase 1 Clinical trials. In 2013 he was appointed Director of Clinical Research at the Phase 1 Trials Unit START Madrid-FJD at Hospital Fundacion Jimenez Diaz where he has led as primary investigator more than 30 phase 1 clinical trials in Oncology.
