Vibha Jawa is a biochemist / immunologist by training and has 17+ years of experience in diverse biotechnology and bio pharma companies. She has a strong understanding of the end to end development of biologics from early protein engineering to late stage process development and filing for approval . She has been a key contributor to the current guidance related to development and validation strategies, support of pipeline product development, GLP compliance and interactions with regulatory agencies. Her innovative work on risk assessment of biologic and vaccines and investigation of cellular mechanisms and their applications to proof-of-principle, and disease relevant models has led to streamlining assay strategies in preclinical and clinical stage of drug development .

She possesses strong understanding of mechanisms underlying immune responses to bio therapeutics, development of immune cell function based multiplexed bio markers, and both in vivo and in vitro models of inflammation.
