Veruscka Leso MD, PhD

Veruscka Leso, MD, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Occupational Medicine at the Department of Public Health of the University of Naples “Federico II”, Italy. She obtained her Medical Degree in 2007, specialization in Occupational Medicine in 2012, and her Ph.D. in Environmental, Occupational, and Social Medicine in 2016 at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Rome, Italy. Her research interests include the evaluation of possible toxic effects of nanomaterials on cellular and animal models, the assessment of the impact of nanomaterial exposure on the health of workers, and the evaluation of possible strategies to assess and manage nanomaterial risks.
