Veronique Spoorenberg MSc, MD, PhD

Dr. Veronique Niekie Spoorenberg, MSc, MD, Ph.D. is an Internist and Infectious Diseases Physician at the AMC - Academic Medical Center. Niekie Spoorenberg studied medicine at the University of Amsterdam (UvA), where she passed her medical exam in 2008. She then obtained her Ph.D. at the Department of Internal Medicine at the AMC in research into improving antibiotic use for urinary tract infections, under the supervision of Prof Dr. JM Prins and Prof Dr. MEJL Hulscher. Within internal medicine, she specialized in infectious diseases. She focuses on patient care and the implementation of the NLE Biobank.
