Veronika Frisova MD, PhD

Veronika Frisova, the chief physiscian of PROFEMA, is currently working as a fetal medicine specialist both in PROFEMA and part-time also in the Fetal medicine unit in the Faculty Hospital Hradec Kralove. She is also teaching students of 2nd Faculty of Medicine at Charles University in Hradec Kralove (Czech Republic). Besides providing services to pregnant women (ultrasound and main invasive prenatal diagnostic procedures), she is responsible for a recognized FMF London training programme for education and FMF certification of doctors in Czech Republic.

Veronika Frisova M.D. was originally trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Fetal Medicine in Czech Republic. In 2004 she was offered a fellowship at Professor Nicolaides at FMF and King’s College Hospital, London, United Kingdom. She has worked with Prof. Nicolaides for 2.5 years at King’s College Hospital London, where she received an extensive education and experience in feto-maternal medicine. On the basis of her training in UK she was awarded Diploma in Fetal Medicine in 2008.
