Venu Jain MD

Dr. Venu Jain is an associate professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Alberta, Edmonton. He joined the department in 2007 as a specialist in Maternal Fetal Medicine at the Royal Alexandra Hospital. His clinical and research interests include fetal therapy, twin pregnancy, placental dysfunction and preeclampsia. He is the Program Director of Undergraduate Medical Education for the department. He is the current Chair of the Undergraduate Medical Education committee of the Association of Professors in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of its Board of Directors. He is also the Co-Chair of the MoreOB committee at the Lois Hole Hospital for Women/Royal Alexandra Hospital.
