Dr. Moutzouros was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He attended Loyola University for college and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 3 years with a degree in Biology. He went on to Loyola-Stritch School of Medicine where he graduated with Honors and AOA recognition.
His Orthopaedic training was in Boston at the Tufts/New England Baptist Hospital Program. From there he did the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Sports Medicine Fellowship covering the Cleveland Cavaliers, Indians, and Browns.
He moved to Henry Ford in 2007. He is currently the residency program director overseeing the training of 30 residents. Dr. Moutzouros is a leader in sports medicine. He is an Orthopaedic Surgeon for the Detroit Lions, as well as Detroit Country Day and West Bloomfield High School. He is approachable and goes the extra mile to assure for the best care of all his patients.
