Dr. Vania Enid Fernandez, MD, is a double board-certified anesthesiologist and fellowship-trained interventional pain specialist with over two decades of clinical experience in pain management and perioperative care. She specializes in diagnosing and treating acute and chronic pain conditions using advanced, minimally invasive techniques aimed at improving patient function and quality of life.
Dr. Fernandez earned her Doctor of Medicine with research distinction from the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine and completed her residency in anesthesiology and fellowship in interventional pain management at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Throughout her career, she has held academic and leadership roles, including serving as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Management and contributing to medical education as a lecturer and mentor. She has also been actively involved in professional organizations, holding leadership positions within regional and state medical societies.
