Vani J. Sabesan MD

Dr. Vani J Sabesan is a distinguished orthopedic surgeon with a strong academic career. She came to us here in Florida from Detroit, Michigan where she served as program director for the Orthopaedic Surgery resident program at Beaumont/Wayne State University. She is an associate professor of Orthopedic Surgery with a subspecialty in Sports Medicine and shoulder/Elbow& Upper Extremity surgery. Dr. Sabesan recently joined the Cleveland Clinic but previously served as full-time faculty at Wayne State University, Western Michigan University School of Medicine and Michigan State University. She is a board-certified by ABOS.

Dr. Vani J. Sabesan received her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed her orthopedic surgery residency training at Duke UniversityMedical Center. She received her fellowship training in Shoulder and elbow surgery at the Cleveland Clinic, in addition to completing a Doris DukeClinical Research Fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Iowa.
