Vani Dandolu M.D., M.P.H., M.B.A., has been appointed the new chairperson for the University of Nevada School of Medicine's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, located in Las Vegas. She is providing specialized services for women with pelvic floor defects and dysfunction including comprehensive evaluations, testing and advanced treatment options for pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence.

Dandolu completed medical school and her initial obstetrics and gynecology residency training in India. She subsequently attended obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine, followed by subspecialty training in urogynecology at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. She advanced her research and administrative skills by obtaining a Masters in Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and Masters in Business Administration from Fox School of Business.

She comes to the University of Nevada School of Medicine most recently from Temple University School of Medicine where she was director of the Division of Urogynecology and residency program director for obstetrics and gynecology. Dandolu is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, American Urogynecologic Society, Society of Gynecologic Surgeons, Association of Professors in OB/GYN and Council of University Chairs in OB/GYN.
