Valentina Medici MD, MAS, FAASLD

Valentina Medici, MD, FAASLD, is a Professor in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of California, Davis. Dr. Medici studied atthe  University of Padova and the University of California, Davis. She conducts industry-funded clinical trials, including gene therapy, on Wilson disease, and her basic science research on mouse models of aberrant copper metabolism has been funded by NIH. She is the Director ofthe  UC Davis Center of Excellence for Wilson disease.
