Uwe Volker PhD

Uwe Volker is President of HUPO, and he leads the Department of Functional Genomics at the University of Greifswald, where his research focuses on the physiology of microorganisms, transcriptome and proteome analyses, and in vivo proteomics in host-pathogen interactions. His interdisciplinary work advances our understanding of microbial behavior and the mechanisms of infectious disease. Prof. Völker has an extensive publication record and is an active member of the scientific community, contributing valuable insights to the field of functional genomics.
