Ushtar Amin MD

Dr. Ushtar Amin is a board-certified neurologist and clinical neurophysiologist based in Tampa, Florida, with over a decade of experience in diagnosing and treating neurological disorders. She earned her medical degree (M.D.) from the University of Jordan Faculty of Medicine in 2012 and completed her residency in Neurology at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine.

Dr. Amin is affiliated with Tampa General Hospital and practices at multiple locations within the USF Health system, where she specializes in epilepsy, seizure disorders, clinical neurophysiology, EEG interpretation, and comprehensive neurological care. Known for her patient-centered approach, she treats a wide range of conditions, including seizures, epilepsy, headaches, encephalopathies, and related neurological disorders, and is actively accepting new patients.

In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Amin serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of South Florida (USF) Health, where she contributes to academic medicine and supports the training of future neurologists.
