Uri Rozovski BA

Dr. Rozovski earned his medical degree at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel in 2001. After he completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in hematology at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center in 2010, he spent 3 years at MD Anderson Cancer Center at the department of leukemia doing mainly translational research with a prime focus on understanding the pathobiology of Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. His academic background includes a BA in psychology, a BA in a special program for honored students focusing on statistics, computer languages and literature, MHA in health administration and partial studies at the Israeli national academy of music. With more than 80 peer reviewed papers, Dr. Rozovski published his work in JCO, BLOOD, Hematologica and other top ranked journals. He is currently working at Rabin Medical Center as a senior physician. His current interests are studying signaling and metabolic pathways in hematological malignancies and the role of circular RNA in the pathogenesis of CLL. He is also working in searching biomarkers and building prognostic models based on novel assays for various oncological conditions and analyzing bigdata for several medical and bioinformatics implications.
