Dr. Rampal earned his M D. at Seton Hall University, New Jersey. He then went on complete his Clinical Cardiology Fellowship and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship from New York Medical College. He then moved to Arizona attracted by the year-round sunshine and an active outdoor lifestyle.
Dr. Rampal's areas of clinical expertise involve cardiac catheterization, complex coronary stenting, and cardiogenic shock and he is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Clinical Cardiology, and Interventional Cardiology.
Dr. Rampal has expertise in managing valvular heart disease, heart failure, and vascular disease and is also board certified in Echocardiography and Nuclear cardiology. Dr. Rampal’s practice style is geared towards a patient-centered approach by striving to create an active partnership with all his patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Dr. Rampal has authored/co-authored several papers and book chapters in leading cardiology journals/textbooks and his publications have been presented at multiple national and international conferences. He is also an expert reviewer for multiple peer-reviewed academic journals. In his time off from medicine Dr. Rampal loves to hike, golf, barbeque, and travel to explore new cultures.
