Dr. Ulrich Lenze since the beginning of his career in 2009, has been particularly interested in the treatment of bony defects and misalignments, in addition to musculoskeletal tumors. Part of his training was completed by PD Dr. Lenze and is, therefore, part of the deformity correction team at the University Children's Hospital in Basel (Switzerland) headed by Prof. Dr. Fritz Hefti and PD Dr. Andrew's War.
After successfully completing the specialist examination in 2016, PD Dr. Lenze from 2017 to 2018 the renowned "Limb Reconstruction Fellowship" with Mr. Assoc. Prof. Leo Donnan at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne (Australia). As part of a “Travel Fellowship”, the PD Dr. Lenze in 2019 by the Society for Limb Lengthening and Reconstruction, followed by another stay abroad with Dr. Knud Christensen (Division for Limb Reconstruction) at Aalborg University Hospital (Denmark).
In the course of his clinical work, numerous scientific publications and book contributions on the reconstruction of bone defects and deformities emerged. In 2019, PD Dr. Lenze at the medical faculty of the Technical University of Munich on the subject of "Biological reconstruction options for bone defects and deformities" and then received permission to teach orthopedics and trauma surgery.
His research interests are Orthopedics, Orthopedic Surgery, Accident Surgery, Tumor Orthopedics, Reconstructive Orthopedics, Bone Fracture, and Tissue Regeneration.
