Ulrich Bruggemann

Ulrich Bruggemann has been working on the development of medical device technologies and products for over 25 years. After graduation from the University of Applied Sciences, Frankfurt, he was granted a Research Fellowship at Wellman Laboratories at Mass General Hospital. This was followed by translational research at CBR Laboratories then a product development role at Nova Biomedical, Waltham.

In 2000 he relocated back to Germany to work for Mechatronics, a medical device development service provider. Over the last 15 years, he held various management positions in the medical device development organization of Sanofi in Germany and the US and led recently Sanofi’s initiative to identify promising innovative technology at academic institutions and entrepreneurial startup companies. In his current role, he will be leading early technology activities and device strategy.
