Ugur Karakulak MD

Dr. Ugur Nadir Karakulak was born in 1984 in Ankara. He graduated from Ankara Science High School in 2001. She completed her education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2008. She received cardiology specialization training at Hacettepe University Cardiology Department between 2008-2014. She worked as a cardiologist at Ankara Occupational and Environmental Diseases Hospital between 2014-2018. In 2018, he started to work in the cardiology department as a faculty member. He earned the title of associate professor in the same year. In 2019, he received advanced echocardiography (three-dimensional echocardiography, myocardial deformation, interventional and intraoperative echocardiography) training at the Echocardiography Laboratory of the University of Padua, Italy, and the Mayo Clinic in the United States (Rochester, MN). In the same year, she won the title of European Association of Cardiac Imaging Specialist (EACVI Fellowship). He is a member of the Turkish Society of Cardiology, the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), and the European Association of Cardiac Imaging (EACVI). His clinical interests are Echocardiography, heart failure, valvular diseases, intraoperative and interventional echocardiography are among the subjects.
