Udaykumar Kolkundkar PhD

Dr. Uday joined Stempeutics on July 1st, 2020. He is responsible for Manufacturing Operations and Process Development Lab. Uday has worked in Stempeutics earlier i.e. between February 2005 & June 2007 and subsequently between November 2011 & June 2015. Before joining Stempeutics, he was with GE Healthcare, Singapore for about 5 years, where he was responsible & accountable for strategic planning & support to drive revenue growth across Asia, technical support for Asian customers to develop various applications including Bioprocess and cell therapy products, working with R&D and Process Development team for developing custom media and process improvement and streamlining upstream & downstream process.

Uday was also associated with Invitrogen/Life Technologies as a Group Leader where he has worked on various projects & launched cell lines & serum-free media & supplements. Uday has done his Masters and Ph.D. at Gulbarga University. His Ph.D. is in the field of Endocrinology. He did his Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
