Dr. Udaya Ranawaka, MD, FRCP, FCCP, FAHA, FAAN, is a Professor in Neurology at the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. He is the President of the Association of Sri Lankan Neurologists, the Immediate Past President of the National Stroke Association of Sri Lanka, and a Past President of the Ceylon College of Physicians. He is the Administrator of the Sri Lanka Clinical Trials Registry, and a Member of the Best Practice Working Group on Clinical Trials of the International Clinical Trials Registry Platform, WHO. He is an Executive Committee Member of the Asia Pacific Stroke Organisation.
