Dr. Tuba Esfandyari completed her Internal medicine internship at Cleveland Clinic Health System, Cleveland, OH, July 2000 - June 2001 internal medicine residency training at the University of Massachusetts, July 2001 - June 2003. Gastroenterology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic, Rochester July 2003 - June 2006. She completed advanced training in Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD), per-oral Endoscopic Myotomy (POEM), and Endoscopic Surgery and Bariatric Endoscopy in 2019. She holds Master's Degree (M.Sc.) in Gastrointestinal and Neurosciences, University of Calgary, Calgary, CANADA, January 1997- June 1999 and Master's Degree (M.Sc.) in Clinical Research, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, July 2004 - May 2008.

She is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Department of Gastroenterology at the University of Kansas Health System, Kansas City, KS. She is the Director of the GI Motility Group at University of the University of Kansas Health System, Kansas City, KS, actively participating in clinical research and cutting-edge endoscopic techniques in the field of gastrointestinal motility.
