Doctor Troy McEwan is an academic clinical and forensic psychologist who is a Lecturer in the Centre for Forensic Behavioural Science and Legal Studies at the Swinburne University of Technology. Her research interests are in understanding, assessing, and management of problem behaviors; that is, behaviors that recklessly or negligently cause harm to others (e.g., violence, sexual offending, stalking). She has particular expertise in the areas of stalking and deliberate firesetting (arson) and has authored over 30 articles on these topics. She is a co-author of the 'Stalking Risk Profile', a risk assessment manual used by international forensic mental health services and police forces to guide their responses to stalking situations.
