Tricha Shivas BA, MBE

Tricha Shivas has over worked for over 15 years in the non-profit healthcare sector with a focus on patient-advocacy and chronic illness. Tricha received her bachelors in American Studies from Albright College and her Masters of Bioethics from University of Pennsylvania. In her role as WomenHeart’s Development Manager, Tricha focusses on strategic partnerships, corporate relations and outreach, and grant development to help sustain and grow the patient education, support, and advocacy programs WomenHeart offers throughout the nation.

Throughout her career, Tricha has spoken at national conferences for bioethics, nursing, healthcare policy, and conducted grand rounds. Tricha’s goal is to increase awareness among women about the risks of heart disease and to ensure the women have access to the best education, treatment, care, and support services.
