Trevonne M. Thompson MD

Dr. Trevonne Thompson attended Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans followed by medical school at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago. He completed emergency medicine residency at Cook County Hospital (now Stroger Hospital of Cook County) and fellowship at the Toxikon Consortium Medical Toxicology Fellowship in Chicago. He is currently an emergency physician and medical toxicologist at the University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System, where he leads the medical toxicology consultation service. He is an assistant professor of emergency medicine and medical toxicology at the University of Illinois at Chicago and is the associate director of the Division of Medical Toxicology within the Department of Emergency Medicine. He is a faculty member of the Toxikon Consortium and works closely with the Illinois Poison Center.
