Tracy Cardin ACNP, SFM

Tracy Cardin, ACNP, SFHM, associate director of clinical integration, is responsible for advancing the company’s training and onboarding infrastructure to support the full integration of physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants into our care delivery model. Tracy has over 20 years of clinical and leadership experience, and was an early leader and spokesperson in the field of hospital medicine.

Prior to joining Adfinitas, she served as the director of NP/PA services for the Section of Hospital Medicine and as an acute care nurse practitioner at the University of Chicago for 11 years. During her time in this role, she also developed a post-graduate Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship for the University of Chicago. Prior to this, she worked as a nurse practitioner for over a decade in private intensivists/pulmonologists practice in Chicago. In that role, she was the first nurse practitioner working in the intensive care unit and the first at the community hospital where she practiced.
