Torsten Zuberbier MD, PhD

Prof. Dr. med. Dr. Torsten Zuberbier has been Managing Director of Charite's Department of Dermatology, Venereology, and Allergology since 1 January 2012. Already since 1996, he has headed the Department of Allergology of this clinic and, as an allergy specialist, is also head of the European Foundation for Allergy Research (ECARF), Berlin. Dr. Torsten Zuberbier's commitment is to improve the quality of life for allergy sufferers, earning him an honorary doctorate from the University of Athens along with his extensive scientific achievements in the field of dermatology and allergology. The focus of the native hamburger lies in the treatment of hives, food and respiratory allergies, allergic rhinitis, and atopic dermatitis.
