Tomaso Bottio received the Degree in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Padua on 27/10/1994, discussing the thesis "The elongation of the internal carotid artery: early and long-term results of surgery HAVING Patients Compared with unoperated controls", bringing the Evaluation of 110/110 cum laude. He is Lieutenant Doctor, Head of the Health Service of the Legion Northeast Carabinieri (Trentino Alto Adige, Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia and Emilia Romagna). He received the Specialization in Cardiac Surgery at the University of Padova, with 100/100 cum laude and a thesis on "Hancock II bioprosthesis: A glance at the microscope in mid-long-term explants." The activity consists of more than 450 surgical interventions in the cardiac surgery as first operator, including the aortic and mitral valve surgery, coronary surgery, cardiac transplantation and mechanical assistance to the club, in addition to thoracoscopic thoracic surgery. The scientific activity of Dr Thomas Bottio is documented in June 2011 with 93 (PubMed) and 98 (UGOV) publications printed in extenso, and an active participation in conferences and symposia, national and international, with many communications as first author.
