Tom Pollard BA, MSc

Tom has worked in mental health policy for over ten years. Starting out in Parliament as a researcher for an MP who chaired the All Party Parliamentary Group on Mental Health Tom then moved to Mind, where he held a number of roles in Policy and Campaigns, eventually becoming manager of the Social Inclusion and Rights team. During his time at Mind he worked on a range of issues, including debt, access to justice and employment, but had a particular focus on benefits and back-to-work support. Through this work, he was asked by the Department for Work and Pensions to join on secondment to advise on mental health across a range of policy issues.
