Tom Beardslee PhD

Tom Beardslee has more than 16 years experience in the fields of biochemistry and genetic engineering. Prior to joining Verdezyne, Dr. Beardslee was a Senior Scientist and Program Manager at Life Technologies (Invitrogen), where he led multidisciplinary teams developing new products for life science researchers in the field of proteomics. During his time at Life Technologies he was involved in the development of 26 new products, some which have been recognized as Most Innovative New Product finalists by UCSD Connect. Dr. Beardslee received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Creighton University and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln
