Toluwalase (lase) A. Ajayi MD

Toluwalase (Lase) Ajayi, MD, is a fellowship-trained palliative care physician. She is dedicated to improving the quality of life for patients with serious illnesses regardless of age, and disease stage. She works with team members to focus her care on the patient and family and providing an extra layer of support for them with consideration of their physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.

Dr. Toluwalase specializes in high-level pain and non-pain symptom management as well as goals of care conversations at any stage of illness. Her areas of research include symptom management in pediatric palliative care, resident physician communication skills, and improved quality of life in patients with cystic fibrosis and sickle cell disease.
