Tolulope A. Oyetunji MD, MPH

Tolulope A. Oyetunji is a Professor of Surgery at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. Tolu Oyetunji is an academic pediatric surgeon at Children’s Mercy Kansas City with an interest in evidence-based, protocol-based healthcare delivery. He focuses on quality improvement in pediatric surgery through the mitigation of variations in care, elimination of surgical disparities, and the delivery of efficient and safe care. He is also interested in cost-effective surgical health systems internationally. His clinical interest is in advanced minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopic and thoracoscopic). He completed a pediatric surgery fellowship at Children's Mercy Hospital, Kansas City, MO, and a surgical residency at Howard University Hospital, Washington DC. He is board-certified in Surgery and Pediatric Surgery.
